Anne is not well at the moment. She started feeling a bit poorly the day we arrived into town and by nightfall she had a very sore throat and not sleeping well.

Next morning she wanted to go to the doctors we were advised the best place was the Royal Flying Doctor Service clinic in the middle of town otherwise the hospital was the next best choice. Fronting up we filled in the forms and waited our turn which didn't take long. She went in for about 10 minutes then came out with a perscription form she has tonsilitis. Next off to the chemist for the drugs them home where she rested in bed for most of the day dropping into and out of sleep. With the tonsils swollen they would partly block her airway causing her to wake up with start which really interupted her sleep.

Last night and today was a bit the same although she was feeling a little better as the day progress. She is a bit frustrated as she wants to get up and do things but doesn't have the energy I think she just needs to lay in bed and concentrate on getting well. We will stay put untill she gets better and is well enough to travel again hopefully within a couple of days.

Its a comfort to be in a town and not at some outback campsite when your not well as you are closer to medical services although in Queensland they seem to have a much better mobile phones coverage in remote areas more so than WA thats for sure. We also have an emergency personal locator beacon which the kids kindly gave me for a birthday present if any emergencies arise.
